I checked with the library people. Some of the stolen books seemed like they might have been related to the monster Leo was talking about, but unfortunately, none of them seemed to have extra copies at the library, and it was really hard to find them online. In other words, it's all but impossible to say what their exact contents might have been.
Still, I think I believe Leo. At least, I believe he thinks what he's telling me is true. He's never lied to me before.
